#Letter: Scoop the poop on the Ballito promenade!

it has become disappointing that some owners don't clean up after their pooches' ablutions.

Ballito resident Rob Adam writes:

As reasonable newcomers (two years) to Ballito, we are immensely grateful for having the promenade at our disposal.

The Ballito UIP does an incredible job of keeping the area as safe and clean as possible.

This, I have no doubt, goes a long way to prompt visitors selecting Ballito as a holiday destination, and bringing much needed income to the businesses that support the UIP.

My apology for a whinge… but as great as it is having the dogs on the promenade – and may it long continue – it has become disappointing that some owners don’t clean up after their pooches’ ablutions.

The UIP have even made bags available for owners. Could owners please be more responsible.
