Rough surf conditions close KwaDukuza beaches

The sea conditions will be evaluated again tomorrow morning to determine when it will be safe for swimming.

Swimming at beaches across KwaDukuza has been banned temporarily because of dangerous surf conditions caused by adverse weather.

The municipality introduced the ban to ensure the safety of bathers.

Lifeguard superintendent, Bongani Xulu, said the sea conditions would again be evaluated tomorrow morning.

Following the assessment, an update will be provided to the public as to when it will be safe to return to the water.
