Ballito Junction records strong annual trading figures

The mall saw year-on-year turnover and footfall increases ahead of the 2025 festive season.

The Ballito Junction Regional Mall has reported strong growth in 2025, with turnover up 10.5% and footfall rising 4.2% year-on-year.

The mall saw particularly strong performance during the March-April and June-July holiday periods.

Premium stores are supported by new tenants.

Adding to long-term favourites, several new tenants including The Magic Company, Outflow Beauty Bar, GalXBoy, Boa Beauty Bar, KEB Beverages, Bluff Meat Supply, The Faro Pop-Up Store and Huawei have joined the mall this year. Rolf Offermann Hairdressing’s second Ballito Junction salon and Harli + Harpa jewellery will open in November, while the mall is excited to welcome Country Road in April 2026.

A new parking system has been welcomed by shoppers.

The mall has also recently introduced the new Admyt ticketless parking system.

It is now all systems go for a bumper festive period and the mall has introduced extended shopping hours and hired seasonal staff to meet demand.

“Festive activities at Ballito Junction have long been a holiday highlight and remain free for all our shoppers this year,” said Jorgensen.

“We’re excited. Our retailers are ready. And our community is at the heart of everything we do. This festive season, we’re preparing for a celebration.”
