Miss North Coast KZN crowns glamorous 2025 winners

The participants raised over R30 000 to provide sanitary essentials to girls in need across KwaZulu-Natal.

Six new queens were crowned during a glittering awards ceremony for Miss North Coast KZN 2025 in early October.

Hosted by SA Beauty Modelling Academy Ballito, the event took place on October 4 at The Capital Zimbali Hotel, celebrating not only beauty and poise but also compassion and community impact.

The participants raised over R30 000 to provide sanitary essentials to girls in need across KwaZulu-Natal, benefitting NPOs listed under The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund. Since the launch of the provincial pageant three years ago, the participants have donated more than 100 000 packs to over 50 local institutions.

Pageant director Katryn Celliers praised the finalists for their passion and purpose.

“I am incredibly proud of these young women – they are more than just beautiful faces; they are voices of change. Watching them take up space with confidence, compassion and purpose reminds us that true beauty lies in using your platform to make a difference.”

She thanked sponsors and judges Akshana Reka (Mrs Umhlanga KwaZulu-Natal), Carmen Penrose (Skin Renewal Ballito), Anke Gothe (Salt & Glam Nails) and Shaun Morrow (Morrow Attorneys) for their support.

“Seeing these contestants transform into confident role models through this interactive pageant journey is truly inspiring. The growth from their first workshop and photo shoot to the unstoppable queens we see on stage is remarkable,” Celliers added.
