January
29 January – The Ballito Writers’ Group January meeting at the Ballito Library at 10.30am. All welcome. Speaker: Dr Thabani Mazibiko – author and chairperson of the South African Space Technology for Sustainable Development Foundation.
30 January – The Black Lapels will be performing at The Market from 6pm-9pm with Afritude entertaining diners on Eat Street from 6.30pm-9.30pm.
31 January – Enjoy an intimate cello performance at The Studios with Trygve Nissen from 10.30am-12.30pm. Winston Smile will be performing at The Market from 12.30pm -3.30pm. Hale Mary will be at Eat Street from 6.30pm-9.30pm.
February
1 February – Blythedale Trail Run with 5, 11 and 19km options. Details and tickets at kzntrailrunning.co.za.
1 February – Catch Quiet Storm on Eat Street from 1pm-4pm.
3 February – Rewrite Tomorrow quiz night fundraiser at Siggi’s German Restaurant and Pub at 6pm. R50 per team of six or less. Funds raised to be donated for ablution facilities at ‘Tent City’ on South Coast. Book via Siggi’s directly.
14 February – Secret Sunrise Puppy Yoga for SAFE at Sugar Rush. Tickets are R100. Wireless headphones provided. Book via Quicket.
28 February – Prime Circle 25th Birthday tour with with special guests Tree63, Lee Cole and Cantrel at Music on the Farm hosted by Karibu. Tickets from primecircleband.com.

• First Friday of every month: Burnedale Farm Night Market, 4.30-8.30pm in Umhlali.
• Last Friday of every month: Market 032 night market, 5.30-8.30pm at La Montagne.
• Saturday and Sunday and selected public holidays: Ballito Farmers Market, 8am-3pm at Lower Oaklands Farm, Umhlali.
