Alvin Els and Jenny Church elected to top roles in UCC executive committee

The club also honoured some past legends at its AGM.

Umhlali Country Club ushered in an exciting new chapter with the election of its executive committee at a well-attended AGM last week.

Alvin Els takes over as chairperson, with Jenny Church appointed vice-chairperson, supported by committee members Greg Payne, John Mulgrew, Basil Palmer and Malcolm Gedrim.

André Bojé was honoured for 14 years of service at the club. He is picture with UCC GM Derick Reinke.

Another highlight of the evening was the recognition of André Bojé, who stepped down after 14 years of dedicated service, leaving a lasting legacy.

Members also paid tribute to some of the founders, including the late John Hulett, while discussing plans to drive UCC forward.
