Ndwedwe motorist killed after swerving to avoid cow
The man was ejected about 20 metres from the wreckage and died from his injuries.
Police have opened an inquest docket following a single-car crash which killed a 28-year-old man on the Ndondolo Road in Ndwedwe on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) spokesperson Prem Balram, witnesses said the man lost control of his car when swerving to avoid a cow just after 2.30pm.
His Hyundai Getz crashed into a roadside drainage system before veering onto an embankment and landing on its side.
The man was ejected about 20 metres from the wreckage and died from his injuries.
The cow could not be located after the crash and its owner has not been identified.
