Feed a Child initiative hits 20 000-meal milestone
A collection point will be set up at My SPAR Kwikspar Ballito Village for residents who want to contribute towards the next milestone.
Restore Africa Foundation’s Feed a Child Initiative has delivered 21 000 meals to children in need and is now aiming for 100 000.
The initiative, supported by My SPAR Kwikspar Ballito Village, Big Five Foods and A Heart to Help, has provided meals and fortified porridge to 12 local NGOs, including The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund.
Restore Africa Foundation’s Eduard Louw said the organisation hoped to build on the milestone and extend its impact across the North Coast.
A collection point will be set up at My SPAR Kwikspar Ballito Village for residents who want to contribute.
“Residents are invited to visit the Feed a Child collection point, support the participating products and encourage friends and colleagues to take part,” said Louw.
Businesses wishing to contribute or collaborate with the initiative can contact Restore Africa Foundation directly at 061 145 3512.
