Mattress donation helps 50 children at Shaka’s Head crèche
The donation from Marshall Security forms part of the security company's community outreach programme.
About 50 children at Siyanakekela Crèche and Pre-school in Shaka’s Head received new mattresses last Friday.
The donation from Marshall Security forms part of the security company’s community outreach programme and will provide more comfortable sleeping facilities for children at the crèche.
Marshall Security representative Andreas Mathios said its involvement in the community went beyond responding to crime and emergencies.

“We are part of the community we serve, and it is important to us that we do more than just protect people and their property. We want to make a positive difference wherever we can,” he said.
Siyanakekela principal Sneh Xulu welcomed the donation.
“This donation means a lot to us. It is not only about the mattresses, but about knowing that there are people and organisations in our community who care about our children and want to support them,” said Xulu.
