From protecting homes and businesses to working alongside police to combat crime, IPSS Security employees are accustomed to being ready for anything.

Last Friday, however, they were ready to celebrate and with good reason. IPSS Security marked its 25th anniversary with a gala dinner at Canelands Beach Club, celebrating continued growth from grassroots community crime-fighting to an established security company.

Leading the company today are CEO Frank Labidi and chief operations officer Brennon Knott. Addressing guests at the formal dinner, Labidi reflected on the company’s beginnings, which can be traced back to the establishment of the Salt Rock Neighbourhood Watch.

Labidi thanked the many representatives of local estates present for placing their trust in the company from its early days and helping make its growth possible.

One of the company’s recent highlights, he said, was securing the security contract for Club Med earlier this year.

“It is not our largest contract, but we won it competing against security companies across the country,” said Labidi.

“It feels great to be recognised for the level of excellence we have at IPSS Security.”
