Wonderland – down the rabbit hole in Darnall

The school put on a first class production.

Parents and friends of Darnall Primary school followed Alice down the rabbit hole on a musical adventure, last week Wednesday and Thursday.

The Darnall Country Club hall was transformed into a magical land of wonder filled with giant toadstools, talking trees and a gathering of everyone’s favorite Disney characters. Bruce the Shark, Tin Man, Nemo and Prince Charming shared the stage with the likes of the Cheshire cat, the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and even Elvis Presley!

Producers and directors Robyn Livingstone and Lizel Benade did an outstanding job with this year’s production. Not only did the pupils look the part but they were also well rehearsed to deliver a seamless performance of this unique adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic.
