Trinityhouse reach out to Thembeni

Learners get treated with a special day filled with fun, food and gifts.

Trinityhouse Palm Lakes held their annual Summer Make a Difference outreach party on Friday November 21.

They hosted 38 pupils from Thembeni Primary School in Groutville.

The children joined the Trinityhouse learners in their classes for an art activity, making Christmas crackers. They then shared a special picnic prepared by each Trinityhouse family.

Each family had also made a shoe box gift for the children, containing stationery, toys, sweets and personal hygiene items.

A number of companies had donated items and cash contributions for a gift bag that each child could take home to their families.

The gift bags contained useful items including food, stationery and cleaning materials.

The Thembeni guests would like to express their gratitude to Taurus Packaging, Unilever, Servest and Chubb for their generous contributions.
