Ashton pupils shine at Cambridge exams

The total number of distinctions was 144 for 29 students which is an average of 4.96 distinctions per candidate.

Ashton International College had their IGCSE Cambridge prize-giving on Monday, March 15, which was written in the form 3 year, set and marked externally in the United Kingdom.

Ashton achieved a 100% pass rate and their top three students were 1st Danielle Boshoff, 2nd Sashna Govender and 3rd Shivana Naidoo.

Every subject written was rewarded with an average of over 80%.

The total number of distinctions was 144 for 29 students which is an average of 4.96 distinctions per candidate.

Another top achiever was Isabella Du Plessis who achieved the top result in English 1st Language, Business Studies and History.

These students will now continue with their AS Levels.
