Sanprè Academy dancers welcome G20 leaders with vibrant performance

The pupils were part of the welcoming delegation at King Shaka International Airport.

Sanprè Academy pupils stepped up to the beat and danced for world leaders at the official welcoming party for international delegates attending the G20 Summit at King Shaka International Airport last week.

Shristi Ashmaya Dewraj, Jaanvi Ashmaya Kalopdeo, Njabulo Mathebula and Mikhaylin Ramcharan – members of the Rampage Dance Company – showcased South Africa’s rich cultural heritage through vibrant performances.

Blending contemporary and traditional dance styles, their routines reflected a spirit of unity and celebration on a global stage.

Dance coach Mohamed Iqraam Rahim led the young dancers through hours of rehearsals in preparation for the four-day event.

The experience marks a proud moment for Sanprè Academy, the Rampage Dance Company and the local community, as their talent and dedication were recognised on an international platform.
