Young Prince’s Grant artist claims double national award
Chloe Groom shone in a group of more than 7 000 entries at the national eisteddfod.
Promising young artist Chloe Groom recently received national acclaim for her dynamic drawing work.
A resident at Prince’s Grant Golf Estate and Grade 9 pupil at Durban Girls’ College, Chloe was awarded the Ambassador’s Award for Fine Arts: Drawing at the National Eisteddfod of South Africa Young Performers Showcase.
Held in Johannesburg on October 28, the eisteddfod drew over 7 000 entries across various artistic categories. The Ambassador’s Award is awarded to a maximum of 3% of participants, placing Chloe among the very top of her category.
