Hundreds of people flocked to Umhlali Preparatory School on Saturday for the inaugural Wozza Rhythm & Roots Music Festival.

The festival transformed the school grounds into a hub of family entertainment, food and live music, which kept the crowd entertained throughout the day.

Headlined by Veranda Panda, the line-up included the Phillip Taylor Band, Jason Hartman, Grant Truter Music, as well as the Umhlali Prep school choir and marimba players.

Adding to the festive atmosphere was the much-anticipated rugby clash between South Africa and New Zealand, screened live on a big screen. A Springbok win ensured everyone left in high spirits.
