The venue is very laidback with friendly waiters. The food is top notch and priced very well. I was surprised at how good their pizzas were. They can easily compete with the top pizzerias in town.
My lunch guests had the steak and prawns which were delicious. The steak was tender and basted with a fantastic sauce. The prawns were a little mushy but tasted good.
I had the bacon, avo and gherkin burger. I have had quite a few burgers in my time and this was one of the best. It looks like my friends were a bit jealous that they had not ordered it.
Hops always seems to be one of the busier places in Ballito and now I know why. The food is good, you can take the whole family and it is right on the beach. It is well worth a visit.
