As for the food, I had the gourmet burger, which was very good. The meat patty was tender and succulent, the roll was fresh and the gherkins and sauce really gave it a gourmet feel. The accompanying potato wedges were right on point. My dining partner’s smoked salmon pannini was great except for the fact that the pannini could have been baked a little or toasted, as it was a bit doughy.
The menu is simple which suits me as I’m not a fan of extensive menus. Busy menus make choosing very difficult and I am a believer in doing a few things well rather than doing many dishes badly. I do think that their service could use some work as I found the wait for our food a bit long.
They also offer same amazing baked goodies – from impressive muffins to professional-looking cupcakes! They also have a nice wine selection for sale and a small deli and some imported beers.
On the whole the Litchi Orchard really has a lot to offer – from the market, to being a gorgeous wedding venue and home to Linc Church – it’s well worth a visit!
