Milk Café has a nice selection for breakfasts and lunches and their prices are extremely reasonable.
I would recommend sitting outside if the weather permits. I found the inside a little cramped and a tad untidy but I do think this is because we caught them at the tail end of a busy breakfast time. However, the décor is lovely, especially with the signage and menu on the wall.
The food was good, we enjoyed a fair selection including omelettes, English breakfast, muesli and a hamburger with the kids enjoying waffles and sundaes. Everything was tasty. My burger was well prepared, the roll was fresh and the patties very juicy. The waffles are really good, crisp and light. The omelette was really nice, with a generous portion of mushrooms and cheese. The English breakfast was well executed with the eggs being done to order and all very fresh ingredients. They have an array of milkshakes, sundaes, and ice creams with flavours that alternate regularly. I must also say that their coffee is of a good quality.
I do think this restaurant has some real potential and I am sure it will be a hit during season on those wonderful summer days that are just around the corner.
An added draw card is that they are pet friendly so why not take your pets along so they can enjoy a morning out.
