YES, the big day has finally arrived and by-election time it certainly is. To vote Blue or Yellow is the question? Do you support the Trojan Horse or the Ass that bolted from its stable? The choice is yours good friends. We live in a democracy and the choices we make are important and have big consequences. If we wake up tomorrow and do not get what we want then take the blame and wear it bravely on your chin. The future is in your hands for those who control ward 22. Is the ibubesi (Lion) or the iVondo (Cane Rat) going to be victorious?

For all the Sheffield Residents out there, a new road (Colwyn Drive) has been delivered to you by a very good contractor (GNS Civils) in record time and with minimum inconvenience. This has been service delivery out of the top drawer. Take a bow Sherwin and your team for a wonderful job. The residents salute you and we hope your quality work is rewarded by more contracts from KDM.

To those of you who experienced another power failure on Friday night and most of Saturday I sympathise, but at least the lights came on in time for rugby. The fault was a re-occurrence of the Telkom damage to the 33kva feed which happened some time ago. Apparently that repair was temporary and now this time around it has been done properly.
