#Opinion: Readers share their opinion of North Coast beach toilets

From broken seats to no toilet paper, some facilities need work.

Beach toilets were under scrutiny in this week’s edition.

We asked our readers to share their experiences of using these facilities.

Heidie Smith – Granny’s pool, Tiffany Beach, Salt Rock – Terrible.

Tracey Padayachee – Beach toilet by Siggi’s restaurant is absolutely disgusting.

Lyn Christie – Unfortunately, any public toilets now days are abused and used by tramps, vagabonds, drifters and druggies.

Tracey Warren – Willard beach toilets are absolutely horrendous!

Ayanda Hlanti – Clarke Bay and Williard Beach are so filthy. I tell you the cleaners are always on the phone gossiping. Disgusting!

Karen Landman – Disgusting and dangerous. Some creepy people hanging around at the beach toilet facilities.

Kate Raath – I don’t agree with the above, perhaps they need to be serviced more regularly but if you are there in the early mornings the toilets are generally clean and well kept. I think it’s when people start arriving that it becomes a problem. Perhaps they need to be cleaned throughout the day.
