Classics on parade at the Scottburgh Classic Car Show this weekend
Wear comfy shoes as you will be spending the day browsing the roughly 400 classic cars and motorcycles.
Lovers of the grand old classics will flock from far and wide for the tenth charity Scottburgh Classic Car Show at Scottburgh High School on Sunday, July 7.
MG will take centre stage as the featured marque at the popular show which is sponsored by Rising Sun Community Newspaper and Caxton’s Autodealer.
The beauty and history of the various MG models, will be explained by a compère during a special MG moving parade.
Make sure to look for the unique Fun and Fashion Parade at 11.30am.

Modern bikes will be welcome and can park on the hard park next to the show field.
There will be a free depository for the driver’s gear while they enjoy the show.
The various food stands, beer tent and delightful Ilala Tea Garden overlooking the show and parade driveway will be the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view while eating delicious sandwiches and cakes.
Parking for the disabled is available on the show-field, while secure parking will be available at the Scottburgh Primary School at R10 per car.
There will be free shuttle buses for those who do not want to walk the short distance to the show.
Alternatively, cars can park in the streets surrounding the school.

Signboards will direct exhibitors and visitors to the parking areas and the showground.
Gates open for exhibitors and 7.30am and visitors at 9am.
Entrance for adults is R40 and R20 for pensioners and scholars, children under 12 are free.
The Scottburgh Classic Car Club donates money raised from the car show to different charities each year and chose Hospice Upper South Coast and the Mahlashana Primary School in Amandawe this year.
