Dolphins finish strong

Running towards the new year.

As 2014 draws to a close the Dolphin Coast Striders would like to wish all its members a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. The past year has been filled with many great training runs, breathtaking sights on the trails and awesome adventures on the road.

As the popularity of trail running increases we have seen eager Dolphins going off to conquer and enjoy races like the Golden Gate Challenge and the Kalahari Augrabies Extreme Marathon.

Regardless of the achievements, one of the greatest things to watch is the amazing friendships that are built through hours on the road. The banter, encouragement and support is what makes running so special. So this Christmas raise a glass to all your running mates who have shared the road with you this year.

There will be no time trails on Wednesday, December 24 and 31. The club will reopen on January 7 for the first time trail of 2015. For those who are looking for running / walking ‘home’ for 2015 please feel very welcome at the DCS.

Time trails: Every Wednesday at 5.45pm.

Morning runs: 5am from the club (Tuesday to Saturday).
