The Bandits hold first squash tournament

Squash ladies tournament ends with a good cause.

Nine local ladies got together on Saturday morning to play against each other in the Whistle Tournament at the Umhlali Country Club.
The group, named ‘The Bandits’ braved the hot and humid weather to play the round robin format tournament. Pairs played nonstop squash for five minutes, racking up as many points in the time.
After two and a half hours of squash, the scores were tallied. Vanessa Neyt came out on top with Bev Livingstone coming in second.
“The scores were close, the squash was of a high standard and most of all, what fun we had,” said Zelda Hickson, the organiser.
The ladies also collected goodies for Furever Pet Rescue.
The Bandits next tournament will be on Monday, March 31.
