Oaklands Equestrian Estates in Umhlali hosted a morning of show jumping for horse lovers on Saturday, March 8.
Claire Taljaard riding Lorenzo came first in the 30cm Welcome Stakes. In the 40cm ‘Slow and Steady Wins the Race’ Amanda Erdley riding Dakar took top honours.
Frankie Marsden took first in 50cm Welcome Stakes with Dakota Redds.
Wilru de Vrees, who was riding Trixie, won the 60 cm Slow and Steady Wins the Race, the 70cm Welcome Stakes and the 80cm Slow and Steady Wins the Race.
The 1m ‘Slow and Steady Wins the Race’ was won by Shaun Oliff riding Flaminco.
There was a tie between for Stacey de Beer riding Lilly and Paige Karla riding Baines in the 1.35m power jump competition.
Debbie Mattioda thanked everyone who sponsored the training jumping show.
