A very clever person once said “It’s not about the destination, it is about the journey.”
This week’s training runs certainly reminded me of this. Monday morning a couple of us saw the most amazing sunrise on the boardwalk.
Friday we stopped to admire two schools of dolphins playing in the waves.
Saturday morning we were out at Holla Trails and I was once again reminded how fortunate we are to have such beauty all around us.
The highlight of the week for me was the trail run at Holla on Saturday morning.
A group of about 20 runners enjoyed the fantastic scenery with lots of laughter along the way.
Some did the green route (14km) while others went on to conquer the red route (24-27kms).
Morning runs continue from the club at 5am and routes vary.
We often hear people say they are waiting until they get fitter – don’t wait!
