Exciting times ahead for Ballito Pro
Surfing event announces date on its Facebook page.
It looks like there is some really good news for Ballito’s international surfing event, formerly known as the Mr Price Pro.
The Mr Price Pro’s Facebook page has been updated this afternoon when the name changed to the Ballito Pro.
Mr Price was the main sponsor of this event for five years, but pulled out of the Pro last year, deciding to rather invest in their clothing products.
This left locals bummed and fearing that the Pro would be moved away from Ballito.
But now it seems the event organisers are definitely creating some hype with their Facebook cover photo announcing the date of the surfing competition to be from June 29 to July 5 this year.
The profile photo of the page is a question mark, and it begs the question if any sponsors have come to the fore to host this event.
So we can only wait and see and well, watch this space.
