To compete worldwide, South African sports stars need the support of their community and that is why champion mountain biker Natalie Bergstrom will be hosting a fundraiser golf day on March 6.
The “Please help Natalie Bergstrom get to Andorra, Spain” golf day will be held at Umhlali Country Club and Natalie has organised great prizes, lucky draws and a raffle.
The cost per four ball is R2000 and includes a meal. Tee times start from 11.30 am at eight minute intervals.
Natalie will return to the UCI Masters mountain biking cross country world championships in August 7, in Andorra, Spain to try and reclaim the world title she won two years ago on home soil in Pietermartizburg.
She also won silver in 2014 in tough alpine conditions in Norway.
