Are you ready for the Speedster?

If you want to run a race, make sure you do the Speedster.

It is the time of the year again when toned athletes, weekend warriors and anyone just dreaming of completing a 4km run, reach for their running shoes to prepare for the annual Speedster run.

Keeping with tradition the race will start and end at the Dolphin Coast Striders clubhouse and will take place September 23 this year.

The event has grown to a favourite on the local running calender and this year ReMAX Ballito and Mozambik restaurant have thrown their weight behind it to make it bigger and better than ever.

“This is a phenomenal event and most runners record some of their best times in the excitement of the Speedster,” said event organiser Bev Livingstone.

Entries are now open, but space is limited. If you are looking to challenge yourself or just want a bit of fresh air call Bev Livingstone on 082 573 7548 or enter at the DCS clubhouse before August 31.
