Dynamic coaching for girls with Denisha Devnarain 

The celebrity coach was assisted by Dolphins woman's team opening bowler Dheyanka Naidoo.

Dolphins woman’s team coach, KZN Women and u19 head coach Denisha Devnarain hopes to attract more females to the sport.

“I want to get girls playing cricket and change the stigma that it’s a male sport,” said Devnarain.

Devnarain ran a girls cricket coaching clinic on Saturday morning at Gledhow Cricket Grounds. She was the first woman in KZN to be awarded her level three coaching certificate.

She was assisted by Dolphins woman’s team opening bowler Dheyanka Naidoo.

Denisha Devnarain wants to get more girls playing cricket and produce international cricketers.

Girls Cricket Coaching will continue every Thursday at 15.45pm to 16.45pm at Gledhow Cricket Grounds with Desigan Pillay (CSA Level One Coach), who hopes to get a girl’s team started for Ilembe and District Cricket Union.
