Miss Ballito 2014 crowned

And the winner is...

The new Miss Ballito 2014 was crowned at a glitzy pageant evening at Collisheen near Ballito last night.
Fourth year psychology student Kirsten Martins (22) took the honor after impressing the judges with her beauty, poise and generous nature.
First princess is corporate communications student, 21-year-old Michayla Shone and second princess 18-year-old Sharne Snyman.
Miss Ballito was founded by Rotary Zimbali in conjunction with Louise Robinson, Mrs SA, 2nd Princess 2010.
The pageant is unique in that it is a search for a young woman with not only physical beauty, but also someone who will uphold the values of Rotary and act as an ambassador for the community while taking part in fundraising for charity during her reign.
The 12 finalists were announced in July and have spent the past three months fundraising for various charities.
This played a significant role in the judging process.
More photos from last night will be made available as soon as possible.
