Dreaming of Fairyland

Footworx Dance Studio held their Annual Dance Show ‘A Fairy Saga’ on Saturday September 27 at Umhlali Preparatory School.

The show was a wonderful mythical story told by the dancers who performed in a variety of genres including contemporary, ballet, tap and hip hop.The show was choreographed and directed by Studio owner and teacher Natashia Hooman who had help with the choreography from her fellow teacher Victoria Page Andrews. The magical feeling of Fairyland flowed through each and every piece.

The students also took part in the Natal Dance Festival in Durban on Saturday October 4 and came home with their heads held high and a second place in the contemporary dance group category.
