People flocked from as far as Hillcrest and Stanger to see saxophonist, Andrew Young perform in Ballito on December 11.
Destiny Life Church turned into a festive wonderland of candles and Christmas trees, accompanied by the soft, soulful sounds of the sax.
“I used to listen to him play in jazz clubs in Durban after the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra concerts,” remembered one of his fans, Edelweiss O’Connor.
“It was always great fun to hear him play and I am so excited to see him tonight,” she said.
Young will return to the North Coast early next year, so if you missed this concert, be sure to get tickets for the next one.
