Fans of this popular brand of Zulu folk music will be flocking to Durban’s Playhouse Company for the MASKANDI Concert, featuring some of the best known talent in this indigenous genre.
The concert starts at 11am and includes the likes of Phuz’ekhemisi, Madala Kunene, Ezikabhaka, Madosini and Vumile Mngoma.
Henry Dlamini, better known as “Juba Special” and radio personality from Ukhozi FM Ngizwe Mchunu will be your hosts for the evening.
Come and appreciate this rich repertoire of unique guitar playing by some of the best Maskandï artists in the country at the Playhouse.

The concert will go on till 3pm and tickets will cost you R65 per person and can also be bought at the door.
