Market lovers flock down to the first Litchi Orchard market of the new year.
Fruit smoothies and strawberries with cream welcomed the visitors to the Litchi Orchard Summer Market on Saturday.
It was the first Litchi Orchard market of the new year and it seemed that everyone was very happy to have this monthly feast back on the calender.
By lunch time, the litchis were sold out and only a plate full of the delicate Lemon Canary cupcakes were left.
“We have just recently moved to Ballito from Johannesburg and it truly is lovely here,” said Tracey Herbst, who was sitting on a bench under a tree with her mother, Kim.
“Everyone is so friendly and helpful,” added Kim.
The inviting atmosphere, giggling children and delicious treats was the perfect start to a relaxing weekend.
