Last chance to enter Mr and Miss uShaka Marine World

Get those entries ready if you think you've got what it takes.

If you think you are the whole package with body, brains and personality to represent Africa’s largest Marine Theme, then you only have one week left to enter the 11th annual Mr, Miss and Junior Miss uShaka.

With the continuous support of Nestlé ice cream, KwaZulu-Natal’s favourite family destination is once again hosting the next edition of this exciting pageant with prizes and cash totalling R50 000, up for grabs.

So if you think you have what it takes, remember the panel of judges are not just looking for a pretty face or fantastic bod.

They will lookout for someone with strong leadership skills and a love for the ocean to be the perfect representative of uShaka Marine World and its sponsors at various events.

Girls aged between 13 and 16 can enter the Junior Miss uShaka and young ladies and guys who are 17 and over can enter the Mr and Miss uShaka competition.

Entry is free and entry forms are now available from uShaka Marine World as well as online via www.ushakamarineworld.co.za.

You will need to ensure that two recent good quality images, one face close up and one full body, are attached to your entry.

Entries close on Friday, February 28.

Twenty-four finalists will be selected in each category from photographs supplied with the entry forms and thereafter 15 finalists in each category will be selected to participate in the semi-finals taking place on Saturday, March 28 at Wet ‘n Wild.

The main gala event for Mr, Miss and Miss Teen uShaka will take place on Saturday, April 25 at 7pm at the Dolphin Stadium, Sea World.

Remember these dates:

· Entries close on Saturday, February 28 at 9am.

· Photo selections happen on Friday, March 6 at 3pm.

· Interviews take place on Saturday, March 14 at 9am.

· Semi-finals will be on Saturday, March 28 at 10am.

· The Nestle ice cream Mr and Miss uShaka Gala Event will be on Saturday, April 25 at 7pm.
