Miss SA 2015 crowned

Miss South Africa 2015 was crowned on Sunday evening.

On Sunday evening at a star-studded event at the Sun City Superbowl in North West, the new Miss South Africa was crowned.

The 23-year-old Liesl Laurie from Eldorado Park in Johannesburg was the last one standing and received the Miss South Africa crown for 2015.

The first princess was Refilwe Mthimunye from Bronkhorstspruit and second princess was Ntsiki Mkhize from Kliprivier, Midvaal.

Laurie graduated with a B.Com degree from the University of Johannesburg last year.

She started her own non-profit organisation called The Pearl Project which aims to create a beacon of hope for girls through educational and motivational workshops in the schools in her community.
