Cards and cucumber sandwiches for charity

Ladies and gentlemen gather for the Christmas Fair Fund annual fundraising bridge morning.

Smart ladies and a few gentlemen gathered at Braeside, Ballito last Wednesday for the Christmas Fair Fund annual fundraising bridge morning.

The large room was a festive flurry of chatting, card shuffling and fairy lights as everyone found their table, after enjoying a cup of tea and a sandwich, and got ready for a morning of social, yet competitive bridge in the name of charity.

Great prizes were up for grabs and everyone tried their best to be a winner, including the oldest player, 98-year-old Dini Jansen.

All funds raised will be distributed to worthy local projects.
