Five things to do this weekend on the Dolphin Coast

1. Potjiekos!
Ballito Gesinskerk will be hosting their annual Potjiekos Fete on Saturday, August 8.
There will be lovely eats to buy and potjiekos tickets can be purchased on the day of the event.
R30 for full portion and R20 for half portion. Potjiekos will be dished up at 12.30pm.

Proceeds will go to the Tuinsig Home for the Elderly.
2. Dog and puppy training

Forest Hills German Shepherd Club Ballito holds puppy and dog training for all breeds at Townsend park every Saturday morning.
Obedience and protection training is done by professional dog handler and instructor, Anthony Du Plessis.
Times are as follows: 7.45 am Puppy class; 8 am Beginners; 8.30 am Intermediate; 9.15 am advanced.

3. Litchi Orchard Farmers Market

Top class food and drink, handmade arts and crafts, the outdoors, lots of space, fantastic live music – something for everyone!
Come and spend time with friends and family while supporting the traders and fostering the local community.
This Saturday from 9am to 2pm.
4. Women’s Colloquim
The SVET Women’s Colloquim 2015 is to be held at the Veeraboga Cultural Centre on Saturday, August 8 at 3pm to 5pm.

5. Celebrate Women’s Day

The Northern Action Committee will celebrate Women’s Day on Sunday, August 9 at V Moonsamy Community Hall.
It will start at 1pm to 5pm.
Guest speaker will be Kubeshnee Dunn and Yashika Moodley.
