24 January – Catch a live performance by Steve Graham at The Market at Lifestyle Centre from 6pm and 9pm.

25 January – Stanger Secondary School invites all past pupils, teachers, staff and the local community to organise the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the school at 9am on the school premises. Contact Anil 078 224 6023.

– The Kickstands will be rocking Eat Street at The Lifestyle Centre between 7pm and 10pm.

26 January – Maroupi Weddings & Functions are holding a Boutique Bridal Fair at 10am at the Maroupi Wedding Venue near Umhlali. Tickets are R40pp from quicket.co.za or R50pp at the door. Exhibitors are welcome.

– Enjoy and afternoon of jazz on Eat Street with Take Note from 1pm and 4pm.

29 January – Solidarity Helping Hand are hosting a discussion on the establishment of a local branch. The goal of the group is to bring an end to poverty and encourages new members. Venue: Waterberry Coffee Shop at 10am. Bookings: melissa@helpendehand.co.za.

3 February – Curious about being a CPF committee member? Then don’t miss the Ballito Neighbourhood Watch’s meeting in conjunction with CPF Ward six sub-forum committee election at 6pm at the Striders Running Club.

7 February – Legendary local rocker Arno Carstens will be performing live at the Rockwood Theatre from 8pm to 11pm. Tickets available from rockwoodtheatre.co.za.

11 February – SANBS blood donation clinic at Ballito library from 10am to 6pm.

14 February – Valentine’s Ball hosted by Ballito Hindu Dharma at Relax Inn, 627 Main Road Shaka’s Rock from 6.30pm. Entry R500pp, formal dress code. Enquiries at 074 163 6968.

4 – 7 March – Join a musical comedy called Family Therapy at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre and tickle your funny bone. Tickets available from computicket.co.za.

7 March – Get your blood flowing at the Oddball Olympics held at Ashley Sports Club in Pinetown, compete with three of your friends in a series of epic challenges and games. Team entry is R450 and solo entry is R150pp. Tickets available at quicket.co.za.
