Salt Rock musician Njabulo Nzuza to add zest to Durban North concert

Darin Samuels of the concert presenters, the Samuels Group, said they were desperate to engage with friends and music, especially after the lengthy lockdown.

The KZN Philharmonic Orchestra, joined by Salt Rock singer Njabulo Nzuza and Natalie Rungan, will ensure an evening of fine music and fine dining at Beachwood Country Club in Durban North on Monday.

The music programme will include light classics, catchy pop and hits from musicals, as well as some jazz fusion. The orchestra will be conducted by Lykele Temmingh.

Adding luster to the event will be a sublime Thai fusion meal from Asian/Thai chef, Goo Imthawin.

A number of packages have been created to ensure patrons can have a perfectly fine experience.

The premium package comprises an elegant 3-course meal, while other options include a platter for 2 with wine served on the veranda or a picnic basket served on the lawn.

“We have all missed concerts and events. We felt it was time to facilitate a gathering to enjoy some of the finer things in life – good friends, glorious music and quality wine served with a delicious meal.”

The arrival time is 4pm, with the concert beginning at 5pm.

Tickets cost between R800 and R2 000 per couple and are obtainable by phoning 031 538 3200.
