8 June – Man vs Food fundraiser in aid of Sables Creatures at Mozambik Ballito from 6pm. Challenges include Hammer of Thor, chili vodka, speedy hot wings and boat race. Contact: 082 826 0017 | 032 946 0979.
10 June – Rob Warren performs at The Market from 6-9pm, with The Kickstands taking over the show at Eat Street between 6.30-9.30pm.
11 June – Sharon Properties launch at Taso’s Bar & Grill. Special performance by Armand Hofmeyr. Proceeds go toward SPCA Durban and Coast. Entry is R100 per person, 7-9pm.
– Marimba players, The Umhlali Beaters, at The Market from 10am, followed by Qadasi & Maqhinga until 2.30pm. Winston Smile performs at Eat Street between 6.30-9.30pm.
12 June – Ballito Junction Classic Car Show, 10am-3pm. Entry is free.
– Tara and Dane perform at The Market between 12.30-3.30pm. Catch The Trevor Donjeany Jazz trio’s debut on Eat Street between 1-4pm.
14 June – Visit the Ballito Library where the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) staff will assist with your blood donation. SANBS is at the library every second Tuesday of the month from 10am-6pm.
17 June – The Sugar Market at Salt Rock Country Club hosts an evening market between 5-9pm. Great food, live music and much more!
29 June – Movie themed quiz night at Yami Rib & Burger Salt Rock between 6-9pm. Booking essential, entry free. Prizes for best dressed. Contact: 083 860 9283.
2 July – Shaka’s Head Calvary Community Church flea market at Townsend Park in Ballito between 9am-4pm. Vendors are welcome. Arts, crafts, foodies, small businesses and entrepreneurs. Contact: 078 460 8951.
