IN an effort to promote healthy living this year and beyond, Hirsch’s, Northglen News and Russell Hobbs have teamed up to bring you a competition that will push you in the right direction this Mother’s Day. 

Recent studies have shown that breakfast really is the most important meal of the day and to guide you on how to make delicious early morning meals, the trio are giving away an array of prizes to readers who can prove to our celebrity chef, Andrew Draper that their recipe is not only healthy but also delicious. 

But Russell Hobs appliances only form part of the prize package, the main prize is a queen sized Rest Assured Bed, valued at R9000 and the runners-up will win Russell Hobs appliances. We believe that marrying breakfast products and beds is a match made in heaven.

We’ll contact the finalists by phone and give them further details about the cook-off that will be held on Saturday, 10 May, a day before Mother’s Day that takes place on Sunday, 11 May.

The competition closes at 4pm on Thursday 8 May.
