WIN: ‘Simply the Best’ show for Sibaya

Three Northglen News readers can win a pair of tickets to Simply the Best coming to Sibaya next weekend.

MUSIC lovers are in for a treat at the end of October when some of the greatest hits of all time come to life on stage at Sibaya’s iZulu Theatre with the high energy musical show, Simply the Best.

The show is guaranteed to get the crowd’s feet stomping and hands clapping throughout. A proudly KZN production, Simply the Best stars talented local performers Clinton Philander, Charles Green, Rashid Fataar, Tanya Morrison, Stacey Lee Erasmus and Charmaine Darries.

The show that features hits from the likes of Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Barry White, Abba, Bee Gees and Creedance Clearwater Revival will take to the stage from Friday, 24 October to Sunday, 26 October.

With 23 years of experience in the industry, Clinton Philander is no stranger to the world of entertainment with over 40 shows under his belt.

He is joined by Charmaine Darries, who is the lead singer of her own band. The versatile singer who can belt out songs from any genre has performed as a support act for Simply Red.

Tanya Morrison has done various corporate and social gigs the highlight of these being performing as part of the ensemble cast of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre.

Simply the Best will also feature Stacey Lee Erasmus who has performed alongside Mi Casa. The cast is rounded off with vocalist and producer Charles Green along with Rashid Fataar of the Westville Theatre Club.

Simply the Best is produced by Beverly and Eddie Ogle of B&E Productions. The Friday and Saturday shows are at 8pm and the Sunday show is a matinee performance at 3pm.

Tickets cost R120 per person through Computicket, Shoprite/Checkers and at the Sibaya Box Office.

  1. Tina Turner singing Simply the Best is still my favourite, she can get me going anytime. As for Barry White, Whitney Houston and the Bee Gees, I have all their music. What a great era that was. Would love to see the show.
