La Lucia Junior Primary, the home of rising stars
La Lucia Junior Primary School is a foundation phase school which has been serving the community for over 50 years. Known as The Home of Rising Stars, it is a little school with a big heart and caters for Grade 1 – 3 learners.
The management and staff understand the importance of foundation phase education and the holistic development of each child. They offer a nurturing environment where the children grow in confidence and learn with laughter.
“Our campus has continued to grow with the needs of the community and we presently enjoy a well-stocked media centre and reading room, a newly established music room, a computer lab, air-conditioned classrooms, a swimming pool, extensive grounds and a many multi-purpose surfaces for various sporting activities. Our offering is completed by an academic support unit with venues for onsite occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and remedial therapy.
A Memorandum of Agreement with Christopher Robin Pre-Primary and Virginia Preparatory allows for the natural progression of children from pre-primary school through to senior primary. The ultimate objective of this agreement is to sustain our schools as centres of educational excellence for future generations. The agreement does not exclude learners from other schools wishing to gain admission.
