When we opened our doors for the first time on May 11, 1974, our handpicked team of fine educators welcomed – what would through the years become – a close-knit family of Bryandalians and together they set off on their quest in pursuit of excellence.

Today, 47 years later, Bryandale remains the school of choice in our community, and many founder families still join our sought-after school to secure a good foundation for future learning for their children.

Right now, in a world where the only constant is change, Bryandale remains at the forefront of innovation, reinventing education and becoming a Microsoft Showcase School thereby setting the tempo for others to follow.

As three-time recipient of the Best Public Primary School award in the Best of Joburg Readers’ Choice Awards, we are proud of the journey we have undertaken and will continue our path of distinction.
