Parkview Golf Club’s Centenary Celebration

See stars at Parkview Golf Club’s Centenary Celebrations by joining the mid-winter star-gazing evening at Parkview Golf Club. Leading astronomer, Gil Jacobs, will present a short lecture and slide show on the night sky over the suburb before guests adjourn with hot chocolate or Glühwein (mulled wine) to the course fairway to lie back on blankets and, with Gil’s guidance, study the heavens. The event is free and starts at 6pm. It will be followed by a light supper (at R100 a person) and refreshments at the bar. Details: 011 646 5400.
