Police give 67 minutes

The Linden Police Station spent their 67 minutes at Acres of Love in Blairgowrie in celebration of Madiba Day on 18 July.

Police officers and staff from Dischem West Rand Stores came armed with sweets and treats for the children. Acres of Love provides forever homes for orphaned children.

Linden Police Station spokesperson Constable Ndivhuwo Mulamu said, “The organisation is very close to our hearts as it is only minutes away for the station. For us bringing joy to the children and to see their smiles is fulfilling.”

Dischem West Rand Stores donated sweets, toiletries and medication which was given to the caregivers and the children.

Ricardo Kathan of Dischem West Rand Stores said, “We are proud to be apart of this day and we have enjoyed spending 67 minutes with the children.”
