Mad Hatters come to town

On 26 October the Rotary Club of Northcliff raised R95 000 at the glamorous ‘Night at the Races’ held at the Rand Park Golf Club.

Guests were dressed to impress in fun hats and they could ‘own’ a horse and ‘buy’ a jockey, all in the name of charity. Original paintings donated by well-known artists were auctioned by one of South Africa’s most famous horse race presenters Nico Kritsiotis, who emceed the evening.

All profits from the event will be donated to the Rotary Foundation and various community projects, including the Nurses Home in Northcliff.
