Ry-Ma-In Fête a rolling success

Ry-Ma-In self-help centre in Linden held its first bi-annual fête for the year to great success.

Bargain hunters and jumble sale shoppers queued outside the gates before the event had even opened on 31 May, excited to find that special buy.

The nursery stall had to remain open for longer than anticipated, as avid gardeners kept coming in to get their green thumbs on the nursery items priced at nearly next to nothing.

A resident at the centre, Nicholas van Kraayenberg, was very impressed with the turn out.

“This has probably been our best fête yet,” he told Northcliff Melville Times.

The next fête will be held in October.
